Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains what information Bidero ("we", "us"), operated as an individual business based in Bosnia and Herzegovina, collects when you use our web application, and how we use, share, and protect it.

2. Information we collect

We collect the following categories of data:

• Account & company data \u2014 your name, email address, and business details you provide when you register and set up your company profile (address, phone, business type, tax details).
• Your customers' data \u2014 names, emails, and phone numbers you enter for your own customers in order to create and send them quotes.
• Quote content \u2014 job descriptions, price book items, and quotes you create, and the record of when a quote is viewed, accepted, or declined.
• Payment data \u2014 if you subscribe to a paid plan, your payment is handled directly by Paddle (see below); we do not receive or store your card details.
• Usage & log data \u2014 basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, and error logs, used to operate and secure the service.

3. How we use your information

We use your information to provide and operate Bidero, including generating AI-assisted quote suggestions, sending quotes and notification emails on your behalf, processing subscription payments, preventing abuse of the service, and fixing bugs. We do not sell your personal data.

4. AI processing

When you use the "Generate items with AI" feature, the job description you saved for that quote and the names/units of items in your price book (never your prices) are sent to our AI provider to suggest matching items and quantities. This processing happens only when you trigger it.

5. Third parties we share data with

We use a small number of service providers (subprocessors) to operate Bidero:

• Paddle.com Market Limited \u2014 processes subscription payments as our Merchant of Record.
• Anthropic \u2014 processes job descriptions and price book item names to generate AI-assisted quote suggestions.
• Resend \u2014 sends transactional emails on our behalf (quote notifications, account emails).
• Sentry \u2014 error monitoring, to help us detect and fix bugs.
• Upstash \u2014 rate limiting, to prevent abuse of the service.
• Hetzner Online GmbH \u2014 hosts our servers and database in the European Union.

Each of these providers only receives the data needed to perform their function for us, under their own privacy and security terms.

6. Data retention

We keep your account and content for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your data within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain certain records (for example, billing records) for legal or accounting purposes.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@bidero.app.

8. Cookies

We use only the minimal cookies necessary to keep you signed in and to keep the service secure. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

9. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls on our infrastructure. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Children's privacy

Bidero is a business tool intended for use by adults running or working for a business. It is not directed at, and we do not knowingly collect data from, children.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify you, such as posting a notice on this page or emailing you.
